Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Kunming

Arrive in the Spring City; our driver meets you at Changshui Int'l Airport or Kunming Railway Station and transfers you to the hotel. Free time - Green Lake Park is a pleasant evening stroll. Meals on your own. Overnight: Kunming.

Day 2

Stone Forest, drive to Dali

09:00 departure to the Stone Forest (approx. 90 minutes), a UNESCO-listed karst labyrinth of limestone pinnacles; the battery car is included. Afternoon drive (approx. 4.5 hours) to Dali. Breakfast included. Overnight: Dali area.

Day 3

Full Erhai Lakeshore Loop

The signature day: the white-washed terraces of Lixiangbang above the lake, Xizhou Old Town by small horse cart through rice fields, a Bai Golden-Flower dance session, cycling the Erhai eco-corridor's famous S-bend, a professional photo shoot including drone footage, Erhai Park viewpoint, and the Wind-Flowers-Snow-Moon cruise across Erhai Lake (official fare RMB 198, included). Breakfast included. Overnight: Dali area.

Day 4

Dali Old Town, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Lijiang Old Town

Morning walk through Dali Ancient Town and its city gates. Drive to Lijiang (approx. 3 hours) and ascend Jade Dragon Snow Mountain by the Glacier cableway (guaranteed big-cableway ticketing; at 4,506 m the platform has permanent snowfields - if rationed, the Spruce Meadow cableway at 3,240 m is substituted with a RMB 60-120 fare refund). Evening in Lijiang Old Town. Breakfast included. Overnight: Lijiang.

Day 5

Shuhe Old Town, Blue Moon Valley, return to Kunming

09:00 start at Shuhe Old Town, Lijiang's quieter counterpart, then Blue Moon Valley, a chain of turquoise glacier-fed pools. Afternoon drive back to Kunming (or evening D-train, per confirmation sheet). Breakfast included. Overnight: Kunming.

Day 6

Departure

Transfer to Kunming Changshui Int'l Airport per your flight time. Breakfast included. Tour ends.

Yunnan is fully within mainland China: a standard L tourist visa or applicable visa-free scheme entry is required. We provide the confirmation letter, itinerary and hotel bookings for your application.

Kunming 1,890 m, Dali 2,000 m, Lijiang 2,400 m - mild. The Glacier Park platform sits at 4,506 m: most visitors are fine for 60-90 minutes; guests with cardiac or respiratory conditions or pregnancy should choose the Spruce Meadow alternative (3,240 m). Complimentary oxygen cans are available on the mountain day.
Is there really no shopping? ＋
Correct - this program contains no shopping stops and no mandatory self-funded items, a written commitment. Photo-shoot extras such as printed albums are bought directly from the photographer, never through the guide.
How early do days start? ＋
All touring days start at 09:00 by design - no 6 a.m. wake-up calls. The visiting order may flip with weather; content is never reduced.
What should I pack? ＋
Four seasons in one day is real in Yunnan: strong high-altitude sun, cool evenings and mountain showers. Bring layers, a warm jacket for the Glacier platform (5-10 C even in summer), sunscreen and sunglasses.
I am travelling alone. Will I share a room? ＋
No. We never pair strangers; solo travellers pay the single supplement of $400 USD / EUR 365.
Can I use Google and WhatsApp in China? ＋
