Booking Terms

The main conditions for enquiries, quotations, confirmed itineraries and travel services booked through us.

Last updated: August 10, 2026

1. Scope and contract formation

These Booking Terms apply to travel services arranged through chinadreamtrip.com. A binding booking is formed only when we issue written confirmation after receiving any payment or deposit stated in the offer. Your quote, checkout information, confirmation and any supplier conditions form part of the agreement. If they conflict, the more specific confirmed booking term takes priority.

2. Lead traveller and accurate details

The lead traveller must be at least 18 and is authorised to act for everyone named in the booking. The lead traveller is responsible for sharing the booking documents and for making payments. Names, dates of birth, contact details and other information must be complete and match travel documents. Costs caused by incorrect or late information may be charged to the booking.

3. Price and payment

The price, currency, included services, deposit and payment deadlines are those shown in the quote, checkout or confirmation. Unless expressly included, flights, visas, insurance, personal expenses, optional activities, tips and local charges are excluded. Failure to pay by a stated deadline may be treated as a cancellation, subject to the applicable cancellation charges.

4. Passports, visas, health and insurance

Travellers are responsible for valid passports, visas, permits, entry rules and health requirements for the complete journey, including transit points. Requirements can change and should be confirmed with the relevant authorities. Comprehensive travel insurance, including cancellation, medical treatment, evacuation and baggage cover, is strongly recommended.

5. Changes requested by you

We will try to accommodate change requests but cannot guarantee them. Any fare difference, supplier charge and reasonable administration cost will be advised before the change is confirmed. Some services may be non-changeable or may require cancellation and rebooking.

6. Cancellation by you

Cancellations must be sent through our Contact page by the lead traveller. They take effect when received and acknowledged. Refund eligibility and deductions are governed by the cancellation schedule in your confirmed booking and our Refund Policy.

7. Changes or cancellation by us

Travel arrangements may change because of supplier availability, weather, local conditions, safety, operational needs or events outside reasonable control. We may make a suitable change while preserving the overall character of the trip. If a significant change is required before departure, we will explain the available choices, which may include accepting the change, choosing an available alternative or receiving a refund for affected services as required by the contract and applicable law.

Some group departures may require a stated minimum number of participants. Any applicable minimum and cancellation deadline will be disclosed before confirmation.

8. Traveller conduct and assistance

Travellers must follow reasonable safety instructions and respect local laws, communities, other guests and supplier property. Serious disruption, unlawful conduct or risk to others may result in removal from an activity or trip without a refund for unused services. If a problem occurs, contact the local supplier and us promptly so there is a reasonable opportunity to assist.

9. Suppliers and liability

Hotels, carriers, guides and activity providers may deliver parts of the itinerary as independent suppliers. We remain responsible only to the extent stated in the confirmed contract and required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer rights.

10. Special requests and personal information

Tell us before booking about mobility, dietary, medical or other needs relevant to the arrangements. We will pass reasonable requests to suppliers, but a request is guaranteed only if confirmed in writing. Information needed to arrange the trip is handled under our Privacy Policy.

11. Complaints and contact

Report issues as soon as possible during the trip and keep relevant receipts or evidence. Unresolved complaints should be submitted through our Contact page with the booking reference and a clear description of the requested resolution.
